Success at the Swashbuckler Triathlon 2009

2 members of Dunmow Triathlon Club this weekend competed in the gruelling Swashbuckler Middle Distance triathlon in Hampshire.

The event was based at Buckler’s Hard on the historic Beaulieu estate on the borders of the New Forest. The race was over the Half Ironman Distance of a     2 km swim, followed by an 80km bike ride finished off with a 22km run. Matt Prier was the first Dunmow triathlete home completing the course in 4 hours 52 minutes with Andy Chambers following Matt home 4 minutes behind.
